Sustaining Clean Energy and Water Access for Communities

PT Denkino Sarana Mandiri

Since 2013, PT Denkino Sarana Mandiri has consistently developed renewable energy infrastructure to meet essential community needs. With financing facilitated by Danamart, strategic projects continue to progress on schedule, ensuring uninterrupted access to clean energy and water while enabling communities to benefit sooner from reliable infrastructure.

Sustaining Clean Energy Infrastructure – Kambangan Mini Hydropower Plant
PT Denkino Sarana Mandiri is involved in the development of the Kambangan Mini Hydro Power Plant in Central Java. The project enhances the utilization of hydropower as part of the region's renewable-based electricity system. Danamart's financing supports the construction and installation phases, enabling Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) activities to proceed efficiently and on schedule.

The impact is tangible and measurable: the project reduces reliance on fossil fuel-based power generation, with estimated avoided emissions of approximately ±20–40 tCO 2 e per year , while creating employment opportunities for around 20 local workers during the construction phase.

Delivering Water for Sustainable Agriculture – Solar Water Pump Samosir
In addition to the energy sector, PT Denkino Sarana Mandiri also implements a Solar Water Pump project in Samosir Regency, North Sumatra. The project integrates solar power with irrigation systems to help farmers manage rainfall variability and reduce reliance on fossil fuel-powered pumps.

With financing support, a 63 kWp solar-powered irrigation system has been installed and optimized to deliver up to 365,000 cubic meters of water per year for agricultural use. The project provides reliable water access to approximately 80 farmers , supports 120–180 hectares of farmland , and avoids an estimated 2–10 tCO 2 e annually . In line with a Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) approach, the initiative actively involves women and persons with disabilities, benefiting hundreds of farming households.
